Nov 12 Tyler Farr & Old Dominion Concert Will Follow Friday Night Florida State Game at Doak Campbell Stadium
Football on fall weekends is business as usual in Tallahassee, Florida, home of Florida State University and the FSU Seminoles football team, but the weekend of November 11/12, 2016 will be a little different. On that weekend FSU’s home game against Boston College will be played on Friday night. That will be the first time the Seminoles have had a Friday night home game since 1957. But the Doak Campbell Stadium won’t stand empty on Saturday. A concert with headliners Tyler Farr and Dominion, plus Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots will be held in the stadium on Saturday night – the first ticketed concert held at Doak Campbell in 25 years.
Hotels: If you’re planning a trip to Tallahassee for the game and/or the concert, you’ll want to make your hotel reservations early. The seating capacity for football games at Doak Campbell Stadium is 82,000, and the seating capacity for the concert will be 10,000 to 12,000. That’s a whole lot of football and music fans looking for a place to stay. See our map of hotels near Doak Campbell Stadium at Florida State University.
