Small Venue Spotlight: The Academy Theatre in Meadville, PA

The Academy Theatre in Meadville, Pennsylvania was originally constructed in 1885. Today, the theater, which was restored and reopened in 1992, hosts a popular annual series of community theater productions as well as other events.

The Academy Theatre makes Meadville, which is about an hour and half drive from Pittsburg, an interesting getaway spot for theater fans.
