Mostly Mozart Festival at Lincoln Center – Discount Tickets

Every summer New York City’s Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts hosts a celebration of “mostly” Mozart music. The Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra performs a variety of concerts throughout the event. This year’s performances include lots of pieces that fall in the “mostly” category, including Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 “Emperor”, Haydn’s Symphony No. 104 “London”, Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 1, Shostakovich Concerto No. 1 for piano and trumpet, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 8.

Mozart pieces include Violin Concerto No. 1, Symphony No. 38 “Prague”, Sinfonia concertante for violin and viola, Overture to Don Giovanni, Piano Concerto No. 23 in A Major, Symphony No. 41 “Jupiter”, and Mozart’s Requiem.

The Mostly Mozart Festival runs from July 25-August 23, 2014.
