Austin City Limits Music Festival 2015
The line-up for the 2015 Austin City Limits Music Festival has just been announced, and it’s a good one. Headliners listed on the event website include the Foo Fighters (!), Drake, The Strokes, Florence + The Machine, The Weeknd, and Disclosure. There’s a lot more than that, though. Names we particularly noticed on the list include Alabama Shakes, Asleep at the Wheel, the Decemberists, Hozier, Billy Idol, Modest Mouse, and Dwight Yoakam.
The Austin City Limits Music Festival happens over two weekends (October 2 & 4 and October 9 & 11) at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas. The park is big – 46 acres, allowing plenty of room for lots of music and fun. In addition to eight stages of music, there’s local food, an art market, “Austin Kiddie Limits” for the kids, and an ACL Cares area where you can learn about charitable organizations that ACL supports.
Some bands play both weekends, but many are only at the fest for one of the two weekends. The 2015 line-up on the festival website has a drop-down box that lets you see the performers for weekend one, weekend two, or both weekends.
