Sarah Jarosz Joins Prairie Home Companion’s America the Beautiful Tour

Singer/songwriter mandolin/guitar/banjo play Sarah Jarosz will be joining Garrison Keillor and the Prairie Home Companion crew on their 2105 America the Beautiful Tour July 26th – August 30th.  The tour makes stops at 30 cities, traveling coast-to-coast in just 36 days.  The tour doesn’t exactly take a straight route across the county, there’s a lot a of weaving north, south, east, and west. We suppose that necessary to fit so many appearances in such a short period of time. Their tour bus is going to log a lot of miles!

Sarah Jarosz is well-known in the world of contemporary folk/Americana/roots music and has received two Grammy Award nominations. She recently collaborated with Sara Watkins and Aoife O’Donovan on the “I’m With Her” tour.

Jarosz will be absent from a few of the performances, missing the shows at the Big Top Chautauqua in Bayfield, WI,  nTelos Wireless Pavilion in Charlottesville, VA,  KoKa Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, NC, and Alaska State Fair in Palmer, AK.
