The Tortugu Music Festival is a relatively new music fest, but it’s quickly become a huge success. 2016 will be the third year of the event which is held at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. The dates for the 2016 event are April 15 – 17.
Aside from providing two days of great entertainment, Tortuga is intended to bring attention to issues facing the ocean environment. Tortugas are a type of sea turtle that nest along the South Florida coast. There’s a Conservation Village on the festival grounds with interactive and educational exhibits.
The 2016 performers line-up includes Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw Dierks Bentley, Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett, Billy Currington, Kip Moore, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Randy Houser, Joe Nichols, Chris Janson, A Thousand Horses, JJ Grey & MOFRO, Elle King, Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots, Chase Bryant, Old Dominion, CAM, LANGO, Waterloo Festival, Native Run, Walker County, Tucker Beathard, Old Southern Moonshine Revival, Ryan Hurd, Courtney Cole, and Drew Baldridge.
