Lollapalooza Extended to 4 Days for 2016

The Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago, Illinois, celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2016 with by adding an extra day to the fest. The event normally lasts three days, but for 2016 the festival will run for four days, from July 28th – July 31, 2016.  The festival is held in Chicago’s waterfront Grant Park.

The 2016 line-up hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s sure to be a good one. 2015 performers included Paul McCartney, Metallica, Florence and the Machine, Sam Smith, Alabama Shakes, and more.

If you’re planning on going, now’s a good time to book a hotel. This is a huge event and things book up quickly. We have a map of hotels closest to Lollapalooza’s Grant Park location. If you can find a hotel within walking distance of the park, that’s the way to go.
