Mary Chapin Carpenter has a new album coming out. “The Things That We Are Made Of” will release on May 6th.  She’s released a few previews from the album, including “Something Tamed Something Wild” which can be heard below.

Carpenter has several May, June, and early July concerts scheduled for the US, then she has several UK dates lined up for July.  Her July 1st appearance is a special co-headlining show with the Indigo Girls at Ravinia Festival summer concert series. Shawn Mullins is also on the line-up for that show.
