October “Mega Concert” at Coachella Site?

The Los Angeles Times reports that Goldenvoice, the promoters of the extremely successful Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, are planning a three-night concert event featuring Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Neil Young, and Pink Flyod’s Roger Waters. The event would bring together some of rock and roll’s most influential performers, creating a “super concert” of classic rock greats.

No official announcements have been made, but according the the LA Times article, the event would take place October 7 – 9 of this year at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, CA (the location of the annual Coachella Festival). The schedule would likely include back-to-back show by two of the headliners each of the three nights.
