Del Mar’s KAABOO Festival enters its second year with a great line-up of entertainment.  KAABOO 2016 takes place September 16 – 18 at the Del Mar Racetrack and Fairgrounds.




Music at this year’s fest will be provided by Jimmy Buffet, Aerosmith, Jack Johnson, Fall Out Bay, Lenny Kravitz, Hall & Oats, The Avett Brothers, OneRepublic, The Chainsmokers, Steve Aoki, Goo Goo Dolls, Grouplove, Jason Isbell, Third Eye Blind, Capital Cities, Florida, Gavin Degraw, Ludacris, Cypress Hill, Echosmith, Gregg Allman, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Steel Pulse, Citizen Cope, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Collective Soul, Shakey Graves, Blues Traveler, G. Love & Special Sauce, The Struts, Colvin & Earle (Shawn Colvin & Steve Earle), Sugar Ray, Shovels & Roope, Gin Blossoms, the Wild Feathers, Matoma, RAC, Chris Isaak, and more.

The KAABOO Experience

In addition to lots music, KAABOO also features comedy acts at an indoor, seated comedy club.  Comedians appearing at the festival include Dana Carvey, Darrell Hammond, Janeane Garofalo, and Taylor Williamson.

The folks who put on KAABOO recently signed a contract with Del Mar Fair to allow the festival to be held at the fairgrounds location for the next five years. Sounds like good news for festival-goers!
