The Inaugural Blacklisted Festival Line-Up
The new Blacklisted Festival takes place July 29th at Los Angeles State Historic Park.
Blacklisted is a nonprofit music and arts festival dedicated to breaking the silence on injustice and censorship, with a focus on China.
The line-up of performers include moe., Citizen Cope, Beats Antique, Talib Kweli, The Main Squeeze, Jungle Fire, Ethio Cali, Courtney Dowe, Soluzion, Trapdoor Social, Seis Cuerdas, Porangui, TV Broken 3rd Eye Open, Kevin Dippold, and Nemanja Rebic (Nemo).
Places to Stay
Getting around Los Angeles by car isn’t easy. The event FAQ says there it little parking near the venue, and they recommend taking Metrorail to the nearby Chinatown station.
You can avoid the need for transit at all by staying in a nearby hotel, so you can walk to the festival.
The closest hotel to the LA State Historic Park venue is the Best Western Plus Dragon Gate Inn in nearby Chinatown. Other nearby options include the Metro Plaza Hotel and Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza.
