New FlipTix App Allows Users to Buy/Sell Partially Used Event Tickets

The new FlipTix app allows you to recoup some of the cost of your ticket if you leave an event early.

FlipTix app users will be able to simply open the app and click “I’m Gone” to free up their ticket for resale. Sellers will be paid in cash, credit, merchandise, or gift cards. The price for ticket buyers will depend on how much time is left in the event.

FlixTix is great for both buyer and seller, allowing the original ticket holder an opportunity to get some money back while also getting someone into an event at a discounted price.

The first big event for FlixTix will be this year’s KAABOO music festival in Southern California, September 14 – 16.  The app is currently only available for Phoneix, Scottsdale, and San Diego but the developers hope to expend to additional festivals, venues, and events throughout the U.S..
