Many Music Festivals Rescheduled Due to COVID-19

Coachella in Indio, California, originally scheduled for the weekends of April 10 – 12 and 17 – 19 has been rescheduled for October 9 – 11 and 16 – 18, 2020. 

Stagecoach Country Music Festival, also held at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, has been rescheduled to October 23 – 15, 2020. 

The Tortuga Music Festival, which was scheduled for April 17 – 19 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida has been postponed until fall. The new dates are October 2, 3 & 4, 2020. 

Country Thunder, Florida, which was scheduled for March 27 – 29 at Osceola Heritage Park, has been rescheduled for October 16 – 18, 2020. 

Dreamville Festival was to take place in April at Dorthea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina has now been rescheduled for August 29, 2020. 

Pharell’s Something in the Water Festival, which was scheduled for April 23 – 25 in Virginia Beach, Virginia has been canceled for this year. An announcement on the festival website states that the festival will return April 23 – 25, 2021. 

Although Miami’s Ultra Music Festival has been canceled for this year, the festival has teamed up with Sirius XM Radio to produce the Ultra Virtual Audio Festival. Sirius XM Radio will launch UMF Radio on March 20 at 5:00 p.m. eastern. The station will feature exclusive live DJ sets from artists originally schedule to perform at Ultra this year. The station will also feature festival performances from past years.
