New Alaska Airlines Center at University of Alaska Anchorage
A brand new 5,000 seat arena is opening at the University of Alaska Anchorage. The Alaska Airline Center is a primarily a sports venue, but will also host live music events. The first band to play at the new arena will be the Alabama Shakes on September 13th.
The Alaska Airlines Center’s official grand opening dates are September 5 – 14.
The SpringHill Suites Anchorage University Lake is the closest hotel to the arena.
