Inglewood CA’s Forum has a Big Year

2014 was the first year back in operation for the Forum arena after undergoing a $100 million renovation project and shifting of ownership to the Madison Square Garden Co. It looks like the changes paid off for this Inglewood California venue. According to a recent LA Times article, the Forum hosted 50 concerts in 2014, the most in the L.A. area by a long shot. The Verizon Wireless Amphitheater hosted 28 concerts and the Staples Center hosted 25.

It’s appropriate that the Madison Square Garden Company should own the Forum; the Forum Arena was designed by Charles Luckman, the same architect who designed Madison Square Garden. Although Madison Square Garden hosts both sports and concert events, the Forum has been redesigned as an arena which is dedicated completely as a concert venue.

Upcoming Forum concerts in 2015 include Maroon 5, Ariana Grande, Fleetwood Mac, and U2.
