News! 2016 Big Barrel Line-Up Announced.

Yesterday we featured Dover, Delaware’s annual Firefly Music Festal. This year folks have even more music options in Dover. A new country music festival comes to the Dover International Speedway festival grounds in the summer of 2015. The Big Barrel Country Music Festival takes palce June 26th through 28th at the wooded festival grounds on the speedway property.

The producer of the Firefly Music Festival, held annually at the Dover Speedway Woodlands, has teamed up with the folks who put on the Stagecoach Country Music Festival in California to create this new event.

The performer line-up for the event is impressive. Headliners include Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, and Carrie Underwood. Other big names on the list include Jake Owen, Chris Young, Gary Allan, Lynyrd Skynrd, Loretta Lynn, and Merle Haggard. See the full line-up below.

Hotels

There is tent camping and RV camping available on the festival grounds, but if you’re not into camping, Dover is used to hosting big events, so there are plenty of hotels nearby.

Tickets

Passes can be purchased through the festival website. Passes are good for all three days and are available for general admission or “front porch” reserved seating. Prices for the general admission passes go up on May 27th.
