Austin360 Amphitheater 2015 Summer Concerts
Austin360 Amphitheater is one of the newer outdoor concert spaces in Texas. The facility opened in 2013 and received the Pollstar Award for best new major concert venue.
Austin360 is located at the Circuit of Americas, a motor racing circuit track located just outside of Austin, TX. Adding a stage to the space provides a nice way to make use of the property when races aren’t scheduled.
The amphitheater has a total capacity of 14,000 with permanent fixed seating for 5,240. General admission seating is on a sloped lawn area.
The 2015 concert line-up is a strong one, with a good variety of music types. Austin concert-goers can enjoy performances by rock legends such as Van Halen and Steely Dan or more recent hit-makers such as Fall Out Boy, Zack Brown Band, and Tedeschi Trucks Band. Big name country music performers include Kenny Chesney, Kelly Clarkson and Florida Georgia Line.

Hotels Near Austin360
Because the Austin360 Amphitheater is located with the Circuit of the Americas race course, it’s kind of out a ways from the rest of the city and not real close to any hotels. Fortunately, it is pretty close to the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, where there’s a good variety of hotels, many of them reasonably priced.
Closest options are the Hilton Austin Airport and the Quality Inn & Suites Airport. Just a little further away there’s a cluster of hotels that includes just about all the national chains. There’s Microtel, Courtyard, La Quinta, Comfort Suites, Holiday Inn Express, Super 8 … you get the idea.
