The Woods Amphitheater at Fontanel – Summer 2015 Concerts

Nashville’s new riverfront Ascend Amphitheater is getting lots of press these days. But it’s not the only Nashville outdoor venue with a great location. The Woods Amphitheater at Fontanel has been putting on great concerts for a while now. With the Ascend, you get an urban setting with Nashville’s skyline as a backdrop. At the Woods the setting is quieter, with the concert area in a clearing set in the woods of Fontanel Mansion (Barbara Mandrell’s former home). Capacity is 4,500.

The Woods is officially known now at the Carl Black Chevy Wood Amphitheater.

The 2015 concert schedule includes Lindsey Sterling, Bryan Adams, Amos Lee & David Gray, Brian Wilson, Barenaked Ladies, R5, and Damien Rice. Tickets are available at the amphitheater’s website.
