Virginia Beach Amphitheater Has New Name

Virginia Beach’s big outdoor amphitheater, which was until recently known as Farm Bureau Live at Virginia Beach, is now the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater at Virginia Beach.

This is the latest in a series of name changes since the venue opened in 1996. For the first 14 years of operation the venue was known as the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. It became the Virginia Beach Amphitheater in 2010, then Farm Bureau Live at Virginia Beach in 2011.

2016 concerts coming to the venue include Jimmy Buffet, Weezer, Heart with Joan Jett and Cheap Trick, and Keith Urban.
