Chris Stapleton Summer 2016 US Tour Dates
Chris Stapleton is one of the hottest performers in country music these days. Stapleton has been around the music business for a while, working as a songwriter and fronting the progressive bluegrass band The Steeldrivers. But after he swept the CMA Awards for his recent solo work, with wins in the best Male Vocalist, New Artist, and Album of the Year categories, his career really got hot. He later won Grammy Awards for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Album.
In addition to solo concerts, Stapleton is in the line-up for several festivals, including Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Coachella, Stagecoach Festival, and the Country 500 in Daytona. For a portion of Stapleton’s summer tour he’ll be performing with country music legend Hank Williams, Jr. He also has several shows lined up with Jason Isbell.
Some lucky fans in Kentucky had the opportunity to enjoy a free concert recently. Stapleton played a free concert at Johnson Central High School in Painsville, KY on March 24th. The singer/songwriter is from Kentucky and attended school at Johnson Center. The concert was put on in partnership with Dodge Ram Trucks and their Hometown Heroes program.
