Memphis’ Beale Street Music Festival Stage Line-ups and Schedule

The 2016 Beale Street Music Festival, happening April 29 – May 1 in downtown Memphis Tennessee’s waterfront Tom Lee Park, features a great and varied line-up of entertainers. The festival features four stages of music and from the looks of the performance schedule, folks may have a hard time deciding which shows they want to see. For instance, on Friday night there are overlapping performances by Neil Young, Weezer, and Train.  Saturday has overlapping performances by Beck, Paul Simon, Cold War Kids, and Nathaniel Raeliff & The Night Sweats. Where to go … where to go …  Of course, having a variety of shows to choose from is part of the attraction at these festivals. Beale Street’s eclectic line-up makes it even more interesting.

Tickets are still available in the form of one day passes, three day passes, and VIP Experience three day passes.

Places to Stay: If you haven’t made hotel reservations yet, you might need to shop around a little. Many of the downtown hotels closest to the festival location at Tome Lee Park are filled up. However, last we checked, the Sheraton Memphis Downtown Hotel still had some rooms available for the full weekend.  If you only need a hotel room for Sunday night, it looks like there are a lot more downtown rooms available. See hotels closest to the Beale Street Festival for a map of hotel locations. There are also plenty of hotels located outside of downtown that have rooms. Here’s a map of Memphis hotels with rooms available April 28 – May 2.
