Virginia Beach’s American Music Festival Concerts Moved Indoors as Storm Approaches

The folks at the American Music Festival in Virginia Beach, Virginia are hoping that stormy weather won’t dampen the spirits of concert-goers. As Hurricane Hermine moves up the eastern seaboard, event organizers have announced that all of Saturday’s 5th Street Main Stage concerts will be moved to the Virginia Beach Convention Center on 19th Street. It’s not the sunny beachfront location that festival attendees might have hoped for, but at least it will be dry.

All other Saturday concerts along the waterfront have been cancelled.

No changes have been made to the Friday or Sunday concert schedules.

The Saturday show, which will now be held at the Convention Center, includes UB40, The Wallflowers, and Cracker.
