Foo Fighters Announce Cal Jam 17 with “22 of Their Favorite Bands”

The Foo Fighters have announced they’re hosting a new music festival this fall in San Bernadino, CA. The event, called Cal Jam 17, will feature Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Liam Gallagher, the Kills, Japandroids, Bob Mould, White Reaper, The Struts, Circa Waves, Babes in Toyland, Adia Victoria, and more. A tweet from the band referred to the festival as a “throw down with 22 of our favorite bands.” Check out the Cal Jam 17 website for details.
Cal Jam 17 will take place Oct 7th at Glen Helen Regional Park and Fairgrounds in San Bernadino, CA. Festival amenities will include camping, carnival rides, a water park, attractions, a mobile recording studio & more. Glen Helen Regional Park is the location of Glen Helen Amphitheater (formerly San Manuel Amphitheater), which is the largest amphitheater in the United States.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, June 29th at 10:00 a.m. PT.

New Album Release
The fest announcement was made along with the news that the band has a new alum, Concrete and Gold, set to release on September 15th.

Tour
The band also announced new tour dates, starting October 12th with an already sold-out show at The Anthem, a brand new venue in Washington DC.
