It’s Back to Delta for Salt Lake City’s NBA Arena

Arena and stadium name changes happen all the time. It’s not too often that they end up circling back around to their original name. That’s what’s happening with, though, with the Salt Lake City arena that serves as home court for the NBA’s Utah Jazz. The venue that started out as Delta Center when it opened in 1991 and is currently known as Vivint Arena will become Delta Center again this summer. Delta Airlines has signed a long-time deal for the naming rights, which will official take effect on July 1, 2023.

In addition to serving as the home of the Utah Jazz, Vivint Arena/Delta Center also hosts concerts and other events throughout the year. The downtown Salt Lake City location provides convenient access to nearby hotels and restaurants. Hotels near Delta Center in Salt Lake City.
