Big Ears events are held at multiple venues in downtown Knoxville. Fortunately, Knoxville’s downtown is fairly compact and walkable – and there are several hotels located within easy walking distance of the Big Ears venues (plus downtown restaurants and shops).

Crown Plaza Hotel (401 W Summit Hill Drive) – Centrally located between the larger Gay Street venues (Tennessee Theatre and the Bijou) and the smaller Jackson Avenue area venues (Mill & Mine, Pilot Light, the Standard)
Embassy Suites (507 South Gay Street) – One of the newer downtown hotels. Located just down the street from the Tennessee Theatre and within easy walking distance of many shops and restaurants.
Hyatt Place Downtown (530 South Gay Street) – The Hyatt Place is another new downtown hotel. Hyatt Place is located in a restored downtown structure and is just down the street from the Tennessee Theatre and within easy walking distance of many shops and restaurants.
Residence Inn & Courtyard by Marriott (210 West Church Ave) – This “two in one” hotel complex with both Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn suites connected by a shared lobby and reception space opened in 2019. It’s located one block from the Bijou and two blocks from the Tennessee Theatre.
