Black Desert Championship: Utah’s First PGA Tour Event in over 60 Years

The PGA and Black Desert Resort have entered into a four-year agreement that will bring the PGA Tour back to Utah for the first time in over 60 years. The Black Desert Championship will be part of the PGA TOUR’s 2024 FedExCup Fall as a Full-Field event. Tournament dates will be announced at a later time. For now, the resort’s website simply lists the event as October, 2024. Black Desert Resort will also host an LPGA Tour event in May of 2025.

The par-72 Black Desert Golf Course was designed by Phil Smith and the late Tom Weiskopf.
