Plenty of Concert Venues for Dallas Music Fans

There’s no shortage of opportunities for folks in the Dallas Texas area who enjoy live music.

Dallas’ big outdoor venue is the Gexa Energy Pavilion, where you’ll find a full line-up to top name acts throughout the summer and fall. Performers on the schedule for remainder of 2015 include Darius Rucker, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Smashing Pumpkins, Nicki Manaj, Steely Dan with Elvis Costello, Kid Rock, Chicago, Fall Out Boy, 5 Seconds of Summer, Rascal Flatts, Def Leppard, Florida Georgia Line, J. Cole, Dierks Bentley, kelly Clarkson, Slipknow, Van Halen, Ricky Martin, Luke Bryan, and the Zac Brown Band.

Some of the bigger indoor shows are hosted at the American Airlines Center. Imagine Dragons is there in July, Motley Crue, Ariana Grande, and Marc Anthony are scheduled for October.

Gas Monkey Live is one of the newer venues, offering live music, food and drinks, roundhouse-style.  And, of course, there’s the South Side Music Hall at Gilley’s.

Smaller venues that offer a more intimate concert experience than the areas and amphitheater include the House of Blues, Grenada Theater, and the Majestic Theatre.
